My creative space is my spare/guest bedroom. It has nice vaulted ceilings and faces due east, which exposes the room to warm and bright sunlight. In the evenings though, the lighting is not so good. There is no ceiling lights in this room and I use a table lamp on my sewing table. Someday I will install a fan/light fixture.
Lets take a peek at what is in the closets:
In the closet I keep all my fabrics, yarn, ribbon, patterns, etc. etc. My closet is always a work in progress and I am always looking for different ideas to stay organized.
On some days I go into my craft room wanting to get rid of the yellow colored walls. But I just cannot find a wall color that fits right with me. Plus, I really do not want to paint a room with vaulted ceilings and tall walls. Yet when I walk into the room when the sun is shining in; I feel re-energized, I feel better and not so depressed. The room warms me up and I can take a deep breath, calm down and come back out again.

A little late to the party, but my sewing room is also in my guest room. Not a particularly great setup, seeing as how I have to sit on the bed to use the sewing machine (no room for a chair, you see). It also gets painfully hot during the summer days. I'm thinking about moving the whole shebang down into my basement - lots of space there. The light isn't too good, but I could have better fixtures installed, that is for sure. Thanks for sharing your space!
